Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup (45g) rolled oats
  • 1 scoop (30g) whey protein powder
  • 3/4 cup (180ml) unsweetened almond milk
  • 1/4 cup (60g) plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
  • 1/2 tsp (2.5ml) vanilla extract
  • 1/4 tsp (1g) ground cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Add the rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, and cinnamon directly into a 16 oz wide mouth glass Mason jar.
  2. Stir with a whisk or fork until the protein powder is evenly distributed and no large clumps remain. Note: Doing this dry is the key to a smooth texture.
  3. Pour in the unsweetened almond milk and vanilla extract.
  4. Add the plain non fat Greek yogurt on top of the liquid.
  5. Stir vigorously from the bottom up until a thick, creamy slurry forms. Note: Make sure no dry oats are hiding at the very bottom.
  6. Ensure all powder is fully hydrated and oats are submerged.
  7. Seal the lid tightly to prevent the oats from absorbing fridge odors.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 6 hours until the oats are soft and the chia seeds have expanded.
