Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup (45g) old-fashioned rolled oats
- 1 scoop (30g) vanilla protein powder
- 1/3 cup (80g) plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- 1/2 cup (120ml) unsweetened almond milk
- 1 tbsp (12g) chia seeds
- 1 tsp (5ml) vanilla extract
- 1 tbsp (15ml) maple syrup
- 1/4 tsp (1g) ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch (0.5g) sea salt
Instructions:
- Add the rolled oats, protein powder, chia seeds, cinnamon, and salt directly into a mason jar.
- Whisk the dry ingredients together until the cinnamon is evenly distributed to prevent clumping.
- Pour in the almond milk, Greek yogurt, maple syrup, and vanilla extract.
- Stir vigorously with your whisk until the mixture is smooth and no dry pockets remain.
- Scrape the sides of the jar with a spoon to ensure no dry protein powder is stuck to the glass.
- Seal the lid tightly to prevent the oats from absorbing smells from the fridge.
- Refrigerate for at least 6 hours until the mixture is thick and set.
- Give it one final stir before eating to redistribute the creaminess.
