Ingredients:

  • 3 tbsp heavy whipping cream (36% fat)
  • 2 tbsp 2% milk
  • 1 tbsp vanilla simple syrup
  • 1 pinch fine sea salt

Instructions:

  1. Combine the chilled heavy whipping cream, 2% milk, vanilla syrup, and sea salt in a narrow glass pitcher or mason jar.
  2. Submerge the head of a handheld electric frother just below the liquid's surface. Tilt the glass at a 45-degree angle, turn the frother on, and hold stationary for 15-20 seconds to create a vortex.
  3. Move the frother wand up and down slightly for an additional 10 seconds to incorporate remaining liquid until the texture resembles thick, wet paint or melted soft-serve ice cream.
  4. Tap the bottom of the container firmly on the counter two or three times. This 'settles' the foam and breaks any lingering large air pockets.
  5. Slowly pour the mixture over your favorite iced coffee or cold brew.
