Ingredients:
- fresh green beans, ends trimmed
- extra virgin olive oil
- sea salt
- grated Parmesan cheese
- panko breadcrumbs
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- cracked black pepper
- red pepper flakes
Instructions:
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Wash the green beans thoroughly and dry them completely with a kitchen towel to prevent steaming.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss the dry green beans with the extra virgin olive oil until every bean is evenly coated.
- In a separate small bowl, whisk together the parmesan cheese, panko breadcrumbs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Sprinkle the dry seasoning mixture over the oiled beans. Use your hands to toss and press the mixture onto the beans to ensure maximum adhesion.
- Spread the beans in a single layer on a large rimmed baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Roast for 12 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown and the beans are tender-crisp.
